“ Jennifer was our server and she was THE BEST. We took her recommendations and ordered the scallops and mushroom ravioli, and the pecan butter crunch cake for dessert. Everything was fantastic and we will definitely be back! ”
“ Over the holidays, about 5 minutes before 20 friends arrived for dinner we realized that we had mixed up the date with Amerigo's catering / delivery service. General Manager, Matthew Neal, and his team rushed our order for pick up and we were able to serve dinner on time. Christmas celebration saved! It's rare to see such great customer service! Many thanks to Matthew and the Amerigo team! Cheers! ”
“ It's very good Popular with locals Good lasagna Fair service Nice, upscale vibe Reasonable prices ”
“ Loved my alfredo!! Food, server, service were just amazing! It did take a bit to get sat as no hostess was up front when I got there but no biggie I guess. ”
“ Wow! Really hate that I took so long to visit because I tried Amerigo for lunch a few weeks ago and really couldn't have had a much better time. I'm reticent to give 5 stars on a first visit, but I really have 0 complaints, so...5 it is. I got done working at an event at a nearby school right around lunch time. I had a long afternoon ahead of me and wanted to eat a big lunch so I wouldn't be hungry for dinner. Amerigo has daily lunch specials and their special on Friday seemed particularly enticing -- and luckily for me, it was a Friday! I headed on over. I was worried I'd be a little underdressed, but I didn't feel too out of place in my t-shirt and shorts. It's definitely a nicer restaurant but at least at lunch time I don't feel like anyone was sneering at me, lol. The hostess was pleasant and seemed genuinely happy to chat with me. All of the staff were lovely; my waitress was attentive and cheerful and managed her visits to my table with perfect timing. The restaurant is pretty and, as I mentioned, slightly upscale. A visit to the lady's bathroom while I waited on my meal revealed it to be spotless. For my meal, I had the Friday lunch special, Farmstead chicken, which consist of a grilled chicken breast, angel hair pasta with mozzarella and a bacon cream sauce, and a veggie medley. A complementary few hunks of bread and olive oil were also served. Everything was absolutely delicious! The chicken was some of the best-cooked chicken I've had in a while -- succulent, tender, juicy. The pasta and cream sauce was rich, decadent, and delicious but didn't absolutely tear up my gut, lol. The veggies were bright and still had some snap. And the bread was delightful, too! I look forward to coming back very soon to try dinner or have a lunch date with friends or family. They have carbonara "done right" as I say (i.e., /without/ fettuccine alfredo on it, lol) so I can't wait to try it -- I hope it meets expectations! If not, I'll happily continue visiting on Fridays for more delicious farmstead chicken. Thanks so much, Amerigo! ”
“ All of our food was delicious. The service was excellent. Great atmosphere! I did not get a picture of the crab-cakes. They were perfect. ”
“ My 2nd visit here was Mother's Day, and I'm so happy we picked Amerigo! My mom and aunt really enjoyed their meals! The service was awesome, I really wish I remembered my servers name. He was Asian and from Long Beach, CA, find him and give him a raise! He recommended the wild mushroom ravioli, and it was so good! I ate the rest of the dish for dinner today, and that prompted this review. That's how good it was. We also had the gemeli and sausage pasta, which was also pretty good, but the sauce was kinda thin. It actually tased better today. The calamari came with a delicious pesto sauce, and the salads were fresh. The olive oil dip with the bread was perfectly seasoned! I tasted a tiny bit of the lobster ravioli, and it was also great. The only thing I didn't care for was the artichoke dip, and that's just personal preference. The other 3 people at my table liked it, too much cheese, not enough artichokes for me. ”
“ I had never been to this restaurant and as soon as I entered I was treated with great customer service. With our reservation we made, on Mother's Day, we didn't have to wait to be seated. The place was packed yet it wasn't loud at all. It's a nice classy place here in Huntsville. There is no dress code but you may feel a little off if you just show up in flip flops. Before I left I found it was under the same ownership of the restaurant Char. So it all made sense why I had an enjoyable time. I got the Veal Saltimbocco which was veal stuffed with mozzarella and sage, wrapped with prosciutto & pan-sautéed over Parmesan polenta and spinach, red wine tomato gravy. I'll be honest it was a fancy chicken cordon blue with veal. So if that's your jam I would recommend. ”
